Kungfu Panda Wisdom
Yesterday is a history, tomorrow is a mistery. And today is a gift. That’s why it’s called ‘present’
-Oogway, the Kungfu Panda-
Love this movie! I watched this twice. I also found several morals of the story in this movie:
1. Believe in yourself (There’s no secret recipe and nothing is written on the Dragon Scroll)
2. Trust the other people (How Master Shifu learned to trust the Panda)
3. Don’t worry too much about future, let go the past, and do something now (the Oogway quote above)
Ideas are Limitless
This picture I got from Wired Magazine really amazed me. The picture above is figuring the collaboration of all human living’s memory. From Pictures uploaded on facebook until Videos posted on youtube. Kilobyte to megabyte, megabyte to gigabyte, gigabyte to terabyte, and now: The age of Petabyte. I just can’t stop thinking how far this would go? After Petabyte, then what? Will this meet its end?
One thing I can get is: when we convert the ‘real’ thing into virtual world, our world become limitless. Nothing’s impossible. Ideas are limitless, but reality burden us very well that we couldn’t reach every ideal images we want so badly.
Coldplay and Joe Satriani on Viva La Vida
I remember when I was in class writing, my tutor once asked all the student: What is creativity? He asked that on an intranet email made for the writing class. I don’t really remember all the answer the students wrote there, but I remember that one person asked the tutor back: Does creativity means originality? I was amused by the question and tried to answer that. I wrote: Creativity needs originality, but creativity isn’t an original creation per se. We need resources to ‘create’ something, we need tools to ‘make’ any creative thingy, that’s what I mean by creativity isn’t an original creation. However, we all still have to ‘create’ and ‘make’ those creative thingy (whatever it is) in our own way. Our own style. Just as Jose Mourinho said, “You cannot be the new Messi, or you cannot be the new Ronaldo. You can only be yourself to be a good football player.”
This is my first time I let you (the reader of my blog) involved in the wisdom I posted here. First, I want you guys to play this youtube video. And then please answer my question, “Did Coldplay copy Joe Satriani? Whatever the answer, please write your reason as well.” I’m looking forward to your responses!
I hope we will find the answer on “what creativity really is”
I have listed my blog to technorati
Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish
On June 12, 2005, Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, delivered a commencement speech at Stanford University. He began his speech by telling that he’s never been graduated from college.
I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. I never graduated from college. Truth be told, this is the closest I’ve ever gotten to a college graduation.
He’s making his speech simple by telling three important stories that makes him stood in front of hundreds of Stanford’s students.
The first story is about connecting the dots.
My second story is about love and loss.
My third story is about death.
At the end of his speech, he finished his speech in a beautiful way.
Stay hungry, Stay Foolish. Thank you all very much

Learn Everything on the Internet
I remember when I was in elementary school, my teacher said, “Book is the window to ’see’ the world”. Well, if I had a chance to see my teacher, I would say “Internet is the real window of the world.”. The difference of the ‘book window’ and the ‘internet window’ lies on its ability. Books can give you words while the internet can give you everything! Words, video, audio, long-range communication with people from all over the world or even your own assistant. Here I give several links I obtained from dailybits that can help you learn without books.

Mother – Children Wisdom
I always think that we can learn anything from everything we’ve experienced. We could learn how to be a good husband through being a playboy, how to be a good chef by reading blogs about cooking, how to be a mother by being daughter, and so on. Live and learn. I’ve heard that words so many times before, and yeah, to me that is what makes our life has any meaning. I feel better whenever I found something that I don’t even think about. I feel wonderful every time I’ve practiced the wisdom I have got before. Today, I’ve got the fabulous words of wisdom from a Manga: Full Metal Alchemist, and I would really love to share the wisdom. This is the wisdom about family.
Darwinism Glasses
Health insurance company FBTO saw a great opportunity when a gorilla named Bokito escaped from the Rotterdam Zoo on May 18 and attacked a female visitor who had repeatedly made eye contact with the primate.
Trendhunter.com
When I saw the glasses, I thought it was just another ‘trendy’ glasses. However, I pulled my words back after I read the article above. Hell! Fashion trend can born through survival! These are the glasses I’m talking about…
And yeah.. they’re all can look at the gorilla without being attacked. Anyway, I think this glasses belong to Charles Darwin.
